We can help you attain affordable, accessible housing in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. CILO offers housing referral listings to consumers seeking affordable and accessible housing. These listings include properties conventionally subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), by Section 8 certificates and/or Tenant Based Assistance subsidies as well as fair market value rentals. The housing referral lists are distributed to consumers with disabilities seeking barrier-free accessible units, according to their income eligibility.

We have formed collaborative relationships with area property owners, realty groups, and property management companies that offer housing options to consumers with disabilities on non-federal and federal housing subsidies. The Center provides consultation to these property owners, who have expressed an interest in modifying their rental units. The addition of accessibility features not only expands community options for people with disabilities, but also makes the community more aware of simple solutions to accessibility.

Supporting and informing diverse stakeholders, owners and realtors to increase housing options is important for a sense of unity in neighborhoods, developed pride, and integration of all populations.
