Since the catastrophic events of 9-11 and Katrina revealed huge gaps in planning for people with disabilities and those who have other specialized needs during an emergency or disaster, efforts have been underway on local, statewide and national fronts to improve emergency management and coordination.   In Cincinnati, the Emergency Preparedness Collaborative is seeking representatives from groups who serve populations which may be underserved in emergency situations.  For more information, please contact us.
